Caroline Dawson
Junior Participation Lead
U16’s Coach
Caroline is a UKCC Level 2 Coach and has many years of experience coaching at Harrogate Phoenix Netball Club. Caroline has coached across all age groups from U12’s (2019-20) to the Seniors in (2018-19).
For the 2022-23 season Caroline will be working with both the U14 and U16’s teams.
About Caroline:
Netball has been my favourite sport for many years, I’ve been playing for 45 years and coaching for about 20 of those 45.
I used to play and coach in York but since moving to Harrogate I’ve been at Harrogate Phoenix Netball Club.
My highlight over the last couple of years has been attending the Netball World Cup semi finals and finals in Liverpool.
In my spare time I do have another job as a project manager and I like to go for long walks with my 2 Labradors.
Hannah Davies
U12’s Coach
Hannah is a Level 2 Netball Coach and has played at Phoenix for several years at Regional level. Hannah has worked across different age ranges as a Level 1 Coach previously but is looking forward to her first season as a Lead Level 2 Coach working with the U12’s.

Alex Pearson
U14’s and U16’s Coach
Alex is a UKCC Level 2 Coach and a qualified PE Teacher. Having been a part of Phoenix now for going on 5 years, this is now my 4th season coaching the juniors.
About Alex:
I have always loved netball from the start of secondary school, which inspired me to become a PE Teacher. I first joined Phoenix when I started teaching in Harrogate over 5 years ago now.
Time has flown and within the club I have been lucky enough to learn from a range of experienced coaches, and have enjoyed then becoming a lead coach.
I love being active and watching sports – I too was lucky enough to go watch some of the Netball World Cup in Liverpool.
